After so long, I retruned with screenshots and big news! So I've canned the video becasue of life sutff, but idk if I've said this before but I found a "newer" version of SmileBuddy on my old PC, I don't ever remeber downloading it, but hey it's there! I'll show a side by side comparion of the old an newer one, its pretty big.
also, about the website. I've managed to scounge up someshit and get it someone working on my end? Again, with the help of by bud Frank, and just throwing shit at the HTML wall and seeing what sticks we got a somewhat achrived version of the website working, I'll post some screencaps of it here. Some of the website is broken in the sense of we are getting a couple archives compiled togethert like mixed up, so some of the screenshots may look diffrent from others. Me and frank might be able to get in contact with someoe who ran this or atleast has more proper backups of the website.

Back again, sorry about no recent posts nor content, blah blah blah. Let's just cut to the good bits.
So basically as I was looking for these shock websites for my new video, I came across one I've never heard about. It's called "CryptidCreepers" and I actually showed it off in my last post. Funny thing about this website is that I've notcied its like actually properly archived. Despite it being defunt now I do have a pretty good back log of diffrent forum posts and whatnot, I'm thinking this might be a huge find in some lost media bullshit, just gotta go diggin for some stuff and I'll report my findings later. Me and Frank will go through the archives so yeah. Oh yeah, also about the whole SmileBuddy thing.
So far SmileBuddy has kinda taken a backseat in my priorities, due to just not really being intrested in it. But I do bring good news, I've found a more up to date version of SmileBuddy. Bascially just a V2, and with an actual 3D model! Woah!!! Yeah... Anyways, thought I'd give an update on that little guy. I know I don't have any screenshots but I really can't be botherd to take any, it's still a bitch to actually get started up, and then actually getting him to do things that are intrested and honestly I'm too tired to do all that right now.

Slenderman Photo Origins.
To be honest, not much with this one. I've kinda lost intrest in the whole thing, I'd still like to find the OG image but I'm not sure if I'll get any closer to it then I have already, for now take the info I know so far.
The image with the boy seems to be apart of an arhvial thing for a small town, although it could be editied on to give the illusion of it being apart of a police investigation. However, the archive has over around 800+ photos and I'm not looking through all those, plus I've heard rumors they've actually taken it down due to those nasty stabbings back in 2014 I think, so yeah. For the photo with the group of what I presume high-schoolers, I got nothing. No sources, no leads, nothing. Really, I think the guy uesed a personal photo from some type of family photo-book, digitalized it and then slapped slendydude on it.
You know, while I was looking for this. I found some other people asking the same question as me from around like '09, or whenever slenderman was made. Of course, they had nothing going on and no awnsers but this lead me down a rebbit hole on the site, I think I even used the way back machine a few times just to see some of these. This lead me to a spam thread on 2002. Whoever this guy was, he was didicated. Although he was sending images and they all look to be corrupt, so sad news we can't see what the hell he was sending. Although I'll be honest, this reminds me of something don't know what, just vage nostalgia for something I don't remeber. Anyways, heres a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Yeah, really nothing new aswell, me and Frank have kinda done all what we can with him. Hes really just been sitting on the side of my desktop while I looked for those slenderman photos and play PvZ. I really love the little guy, even though all he can do is just look around and dance here and there. It's still really cute to watch, I wonder why he never blew up? Seems like an investigation for another time.

I come back with good news! SmileBuddy is officaly working on windows 11, its was pretty simple to setup all things considerd. Frank did most of the work lol I was really only a "beta tester" for the project. If anyone is itrested I can quickly throw everything together into a download for all to enjoy, do note however the some of the fuctions still don't work, as it was basically discontinued in '03 I think.

It is currently 4:26 AM as I write this. (Note to self: Stop staying up so damn late, you might start to see shit). Sorry for being so long without an update on this guy, but I've actual might be able to get him working on my windows 11 PC so I wont have to always use a virtual machine. So I guess stay tunned for that! Also, I'd like to clairify in my last screenshot of him I am not using Windows 98, I'm using XP. I just like the solid background of 98 more than the landscape of XP, just my personal preference. Anyways, will post updates when ready aswell as maybe a couple of screenshots if I ever remember that.
Hey would you look at that? I finally found out how to put the image in the center of the website, I've aslo just been fixing up random stuff around here. Anyways, I've got another update on SmileBuddy, I've just been messing around with him. Seeing whats working, and I'll actually go into that because I think some people are confuseed about it. The SmileBuddy program is kind of broken, me and Frank have been able to put together the broken peices and get it to work, I have no idea how much is lost or broken and what isn't? But I guess we'll have to wait and see. Right now its just been sitting in the virtual machine looking back and forth. I'll post a couple of screenshots later today. See you then!
It's currenly 6:33 as I write this, anywho. Remeber SmileBuddy, well I've gotten him to work! Yeah really, on a virtual machine me and Frank set up and got working. Right now hes still really jank, most of his sprites are just missing or called "TEMP" I'm guessing they where making a 3D model of the little guy but used drawings to sketch out his proportions. Right now I haven't done anything major, he does open a fillout sheet of for your user name and e-mail? But I haven't filled those out at all, if anything I'm using a phony one. Being enterly honest, he is kinda cute I could see like me at 8 getting a plushie of him.
